Josephine P. Jordan, 79, Savannah, Missouri, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2013 at a local hospital.
Josie was born March 26, 1933 to Lloyd and Helen (Hilsenbeck) Bomar in
Fillmore, Missouri. She married William "Bill" R. Jordan on February 5, 1955, he survives of the home, where they lived for 57 years.
Josie drove a hay truck, picking up bales for 35 years, with the help of many, many boys. In her spare time during the summer, she took her 4 wheeler and dog and went fishing whenever she could.
Josie was preceded in death by her parents.
Additional survivors include her son, Billy Joe Jordan.
Services 10:00 AM Wednesday, March 6, 2013 at Heaton-Bowman-Smith Savannah Chapel.
Visitation will begin after 12 noon Tuesday at our Chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 pm Tuesday evening. Interment Savannah Cemetery, Savannah, Missouri.
The family suggests memorial contributions to a charity of the donor's choice.
