Linda Sue Leake, 58, Raytown, MO

Linda Sue Leake 58, Raytown, Mo., formerly of St. Joseph, Mo., passed from this life February 7, 2013 at a Kansas City, Mo. hospital. She was born February 11, 1954 to William A. and Jennie L. Leake.
Linda graduated from Savannah High School and Missouri Western State College. She lived most of her adult life in the Kansas City area and was employed by the federal government.
Linda is preceded in death by her parents, whom she loved very much. Survivors include: sister, Diane Strahm, St. Joseph, Mo.; brother, Michael Leake, Bloomington, Ind.; nieces, Sara (Kyle) Langlands, San Mateo, Calif., Leah (Matt) Wiacek, Cambridge, Mass.; nephew, Kyle (Eve) Strahm, Kansas City, Mo. Linda enjoyed music, singing and crafts. She dearly loved her dogs who were her faithful companions over the years.
Linda has been cremated. There is no visitation or service scheduled. A private family remembrance will be held at a later date.
