Larry Harris, 72, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday June 6 at a local hospital.
He was born to Rollie and Ethel Akens in Brookfield, MO on February 5, 1938.
Preceding him in death are his parents; three brothers, Gerald, Kenneth, and Winford Harris; two sisters, Muriel Brown and Joyce White.
Suriving is his wife Fredricka Harris; three sons, Larry, Shawn and Aaron Harris; two daughters, Tara Harris and Macayla Black; two sisters, June Jenkins and Thelma Dawson; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Harris has been cremated under the direction of Clark-Sampson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
