Arthur Laverne Warner, 90, St. Joseph, Missouri died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at his home.
He was born September 15, 1922 to Raymond and Emma Warner in Marceline, Missouri.
Arthur married Beryl Lionberger on November 21, 1946. She preceded him in death on June 8, 2008.
He was a veteran of World War II for the United States Navy, a member of First Baptist Church of Savannah, American Legion Post 359, and Fleet Reserve Association.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; and son-in-law, Dr. Samuel Hassenbusch.
Survivors: daughter, Rhonda Hassenbusch (Mark Johnson), Mesa, Arizona; son, Art Warner (Ellen), St. Joseph, Missouri; grandchildren, Michael Warner (Jenny), Megan Orth (Steve), Mallory Anderl (Pat), Jack Hassenbusch (Shannon), Jason Hassenbusch, and Amanda Soar (Brendan); great-grandchildren, Corbin, Cali, and Camryn Warner, Connor and Zachary Orth, Breena, Kayla, and Brody Hassenbusch, and Sydney Soar; several nieces and nephews; and a long-time caregiver, Doris Moon.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Private Inurnment at a later date. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to Hands of Hope Hospice.
