Delores Eileen Murphy, 81, Cameron passed away on February 24, 2013 at her home.
Delores was born on May 17, 1931 in Stanberry, Missouri to Lawrence and Edna (Bolen) Mattson.
Delores was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Eldon Mattson and sister, Twyla Bray.
She was a 1949 graduate of Cameron High School. Delores was a member of the St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron, St. Munchin Alter Society and 53 Club. She was a Girl Scout and 4-H leader and was a volunteer with Camp Quality.
On July 7, 1951, Delores married Martin J. Murphy, Jr. in Cameron, Missouri. He survives of the home.
Additional Survivors: 3 sons, Martin Murphy, Plattsburg, Gary (Linda) Murphy, Cameron, Dennis (Robin) Murphy, Cameron; 3 daughters, Denise (Doug) Wildhagen, Rushville, Linda (Tony) Daniel, Cameron, Lisa (Brian) Volz, Cameron; 18 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 AM, Thursday, February 28, 2013 at St. Munchin Catholic Church, Cameron. Rosary: 6:30 PM with visitation following from 7-9:00 PM, Wednesday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial: St. Munchin Catholic Cemetery, Cameron.
