Neva Louise (Marsee) Schmutzler, 76, St. Joseph, MO, passed away Sunday, February 10, 2013 at her home.
Neva was born December 13, 1936 in Savannah, MO to William and Helen (Fisher) Marsee. She was a homemaker and had worked for the ASCS Office in Savannah and then later for the Golden Tax Service. On December 15, 1957 she married Jerry Schmutzler in Savannah, MO, he survives of the home. She was a member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Schmutzler is preceded in the death by her parents, a daughter, Diane L. Schmutzler, and a brother, Dearle Marsee
She is also survived by a son, Glen R. Schmutzler (Nancy) of Savannah, MO; a daughter, Janet L. Kelley (Dennis) of St. Joseph, MO; 3 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held 11:00AM Wednesday, February 13, 2013 at the Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel. Interment will be at the Savannah Cemetery. Visitation will begin after 12:00 Noon Tuesday at the chapel where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00PM.
The family suggests memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society.
