Virgil Hall, 68, of St. Joseph, MO

Virgil Hall, 68, of St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, June 26, 2010 at his home.
Virgil was born August 25, 1941 in Weston, MO living most of his life in St. Joseph. He worked for Rockwell Manufacturing retiring in 1980. Virgil loved to fish and he was very involved within the community, especially the South Side. He was a familiar face at city council meetings and a familiar voice on the radio.
Preceding Virgil in death were his parents, Ervin and Demarise Hall, and one granddaughter, Molly Davis.
In 1960 Virgil married Donna McCarty who survives of the home. He is also survived by two daughters, Sherry Hall (Steve Martin), Marietta, GA; Debbie Hall, Kansas City, KS; sister-in-law, Anna (Rick) Bolinger, St. Joseph; two grandsons, Zachary Davis, Columbia, MO; Joshua (Valerie) Hall, St. Joseph; and two great-granddaughters, Ariel and Chloe Hall, both of St. Joseph.
Mr. Hall has been cremated under the direction of Clark-Sampson Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 3, 2010 in the Clark-Sampson Chapel.
