Lisa Knox, 58, of Leavenworth, KS

Lisa Knox, 58, of Leavenworth, KS, passed away Monday, June 28, 2010, at Cushing Memorial Hospital, in Leavenworth. 

Graveside services will be held 10:30 a.m., Thursday, July 1, 2010, at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, in Weston, MO. 

The family suggests contributions be given to:  the National Multiple Sclerosis Society—Mid America Chapter 7611—State Line Rd., Suite 100—Kansas City, MO  64114. 

Lisa was born August 13, 1951, in Leavenworth, KS, to Howard Rex and Patricia Ann (Dougherty) Williams.  Lisa lived most of her life in Leavenworth, graduating from Leavenworth High School, in 1969, and St. Margaret’s Nursing School, in Kansas City, KS.  She worked as a Registered Nurse for North Kansas City Hospital, Cushing Memorial Hospital, in Leavenworth, and Munson Army Hospital, at Fort Leavenworth. 

Lisa married Marshall “Doug” Knox on June 16, 1972, in Weston, MO.  Lisa was of the Protestant faith, and loved her twin daughters. 

Lisa was preceded in death by:  her father; and her brother, Ron Williams. 

She is survived by:  her mother, Patricia, of Leavenworth; her husband, Doug, of the home; her daughters, Renee Shore, and Alicia Nicodemus (Dan), all of Leavenworth; her sisters, Laura Henrick (Chris), of Lockhart, TX, Joni Frederick (Bill), of Leavenworth and Amy Hancock of Tonganoxie, KS; and her four beautiful grandchildren.
