She was born July 29, 1932, in Independence, Iowa, the daughter of Martin and Hazel Mary (Hamilton) Fenton. Leona married Billy Clements November 11, 1950 in Hiawatha, Kansas.
A homemaker, Leona, retired from Eveready in Maryville, Missouri.
Preceding her in death were her husband: Billy Clements (October 3, 1982); a son: Terry Clements (May 26, 2004) and her parents.
Survivors include her children: Tim (Cindy) Clements and Teresa (Jeff) Colman, Barnard; Tracey Clements, Bonne Terre, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; 3 brothers:
Dave Fenton, Roland, Iowa; Mike Fenton, Seymore, Iowa; Rick Fenton, Centerville, Iowa and a long time friend and companion: Don Hawkins, Barnard.
