Jeffrey Martin Hunt 53 of Altamont, MO

Jeffrey Martin Hunt 53 of Altamont passed away Saturday June 26, 2010 at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. There are no scheduled services planned.
Jeff was born December 5, 1956 to Dale and Phyllis (Williams) Hunt in Kansas City, MO. He graduated from Winston High School in 1974. Jeff lived most of his life in the Altamont and Winston areas. After he graduated from high school he started working for Harvestore; a company that manufactured grain silos, and traveled all around Northwest MO installing bins. He later moved to Texas for a couple of years where he did factory work. Jeff was employed at the Pony Express Conservation Department near Osborn where he worked for several years, a job he truly loved. His passion was the outdoors and he loved every aspect of his job. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed anything that had to do with nature. Jeff was a soft spoken person with kind and gentle nature. He will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends.
Jeff was preceded in death by his sister Carolyn Sue Calhoon and his brother John Charles Hunt.
Jeff is survived by his two children: Dorothy A. and husband Mark Lawson and James M. and wife Lisa Hunt, all of Bethany, MO; mother: Phyllis Hunt and father: Dale Hunt, both of Altamont, MO; brother: Mike Hunt of Raytown, MO; and sister: Francene Conklin of St. Louis, MO.
