(MARYVILLE, Mo.) After splitting the season series in 2011, Missouri Western and Northwest meet with the MIAA Championship on the line.

The Griffons and the Bearcats each just have one loss on the season, Western's coming against Missouri Southern in week 7, while Northwest fell to Central Missouri in week 2.

Missouri Western took the first meeting against Northwest a season ago, 31-28. The Bearcats bounced back two weeks later to beat the Griffons 35-29 in the first round of the playoffs.

Both of those games were at Spratt Stadium in St. Joseph.

Saturday's contest will be held at Bearcat Stadium in Maryville.
