Zuerlein Kicks Two Record Field Goals in Win

(SAINT LOUIS, Mo.) Last Sunday, former Missouri Western kicker Greg Zuerlein came within one yard of tying the longest field goal in Rams history with a 56-yarder.
This week, he said he wanted to be number one on that list.
He didn't have to wait long.
Zuerlein set and broke his new record for the longest field goal in team history on Sunday, connecting from 58 and 60 yards out in a 19-13 win over Seattle.
The initial 58-yard make came at the 10:45 mark of the first quarter, giving Zuerlein the record and the Rams their first points.
His new record occured on the first drive of the second half. The St. Louis offense failed to convert a 3rd and 4, spotting the ball on the Seahawks' 42-yard-line. Zuerlein split the uprights from 60 yards away, breaking the record he had established in the first quarter.
He becomes the first player in league history to make attempts from 50-plus and 60-plus yards in the same game.
He went 4-for-4 on the day, also connecting on 48- and 24-yard attempts.
The former Griffon is still perfect on the season, hitting 12-of-12 and accounting for 41 of the team's 79 points this year.
