(INDIANAPOLIS, In.) Former Missouri Western kicker Greg Zuerlein made his NFL debut on Sunday during a preseason game in Indianapolis.

The team that drafted Zuerlein, the St. Louis Rams, were beat 38-3 by the Colts in the exhibition.

The lone Rams score did come from the foot of the Lincoln, NE native.

Zuerlein kicked a 37-yard field goal wrapping up a six play, 61-yard drive to make the score 14-3. It was his only attempt of the day.

St. Louis selected Zuerlein with the first pick in the sixth round of the 2012 NFL Draft. The Rams cut veteran kicker Josh Brown after drafting the former Griffon.

The Rams play their first home preseason game next Saturday against the Kansas City Chiefs.
