Kansas State Draws 4th Seed, Will Play in Kansas City

(MANHATTAN, Kan.) Kansas State will join their Big 12 rival, Kansas, in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament in Kansas City.

The Wildcats are the fourth seed in the West Region and will play the winner of Boise State and La Salle on Friday.

Kansas State is 27-7 in their first season under Bruce Weber, finishing as the regular season co-conference champion and the tournament runner-up.

Boise State is 21-10 and were ousted by San Diego State in the quarterfinals of the Mountain West Conference Tournament. La Salle sports a 21-9 record after having fell to Butler in the Atlantic 10 Tournament quarterfinals.
