Pitt State Tops MIAA Preseason Polls

(KANSAS CITY, Mo.) After winning the national championship in 2011, the MIAA Coaches and Media are paying respect to Pittsburg State.
The Gorillas were selected as the number one team in both the MIAA Media and Coaches Preseason Polls. Pitt received 12 first place votes from the coaches and 24 from the media.
Northwest and Missouri Western were not far behind though.
The Bearcats were voted second in each of the polls, and received two first place votes from the coaches and 11 from the media.
The Griffons were selected as the third best team in each set of rankings. They also received one first place vote in each poll.
