A St. Joseph toddler is taken by air ambulance to Children`s Mercy Hospital in Kansas City for what police are calling a possible drowning. Police say a twenty-month-old boy fell into a fish pond at his grandparents home on North 22nd street around five this evening. Emergency responders performed CPR to resusitate the child. Police report that the toddler`s condition is improving. Officers blocked off the backyard while crime scene investigators photographed the scene. Anytime we have a child that`s injured where there`s possible serious injury we contact CSI`s to come out and determine whether it`s an accident or something intentional." police continue to investigate the cause of the child`s fall.
