Threats of chily weather turn local masons into chili cooks.
A chili and pie supper drew nearly 300 community members to the St. Joseph Masonic Center to help kids in need.
Proceeds from dinner will benefit the Noyes Home for Children.
During the two and a half hour dinner, clowns entertained kids, and patrons donated five dollars and more as a gift to the Noyes home.
Since 1984 the masons have donated more than $42,000 to the organization.
