Bonnie Lucille McDowell 72, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Friday, March 15, 2013 in a Saint Joseph, MO hospital.
She was born January 1, 1941 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Mary and Everett Fattig. She worked as a Caregiver in the home health care field. She enjoyed cooking, playing cards, and spending time with her family. She loved thunderstorms, and was of the Pentecostal faith.
Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers, Don, Jack, Woody, Everett, Les, and Adolph Fattig, and four sisters; Mary J. Davis, Rose Embrey, Ruth Embrey, and Pearl Sharp, a grandson Jamie Dawson and her former husband, Donald Dockery. Survivors include; a son - Orville (Tammy) Dockery of Saint Joseph, MO; 2 daughters - Lori (Derrick) Clark of Orlando, FL, and Donna (Tim) Vogel of Saint Joseph, MO; a brother - Paul (Linda) Fattig of St. Joseph, MO; 13 grandchildren, and 24 great grandchildren as well as numerous - nieces and nephews and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home, with Claude Kendall officiating, The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Auburn Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the American Cancer Society.
