Ronald Lee "Ron" Sharp 53, of Wathena, Kansas, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, March 14, 2013 at his home.
He was born October 1, 1959 in Saint Joseph, MO, son of Alma and Oswald Sharp. He graduated from Elwood High School class of 1978. He married his wife Gail Hall on March 12, 1993 and they just celebrated their 20 years Anniversary. He worked at Johnson Controls over 15 years as a Line Leader. He loved to go fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends. and his little dog Oscar.
Ronald was preceded in death by father, Oswald James Sharp. Survivors include wife Gail Sharp of the home, mother Alma Sharp of Elwood, KS, 2 daughters - Becky Leslie and husband Waylen of Saint Joseph, MO, and Heather Sharp of Wathena, KS; a son - Brad Sharp and wife Stacey of St. Joseph, MO; a brother - Robert Sharp and wife Sharon of Wathena, KS; a sister - Linda Peden and husband Lynn of St. Joseph, MO; 6 grandchildren- Layne, Sofie, Brysen, Haleigh, Jadynn, and Brayden; Slong with numerous nephews, nieces and friends, Ronnie was loved by all and will be missed beyond belief.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 8pm Monday at the Rupp Funeral Home, he will be cremated following the visitation and the inurnment will be at the Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas. Online condolence and obituary at www.ruppfuneral.com.
