Rhonda Sue (Chandler) Arnold, 55, of Hiawatha, died unexpectedly Wednesday, March 13, 2013, at the home of a lifelong friend.
She was born July 31, 1957, in Hiawatha, Kansas, the daughter of Robert and Mildred Nissen Arnold. Rhonda grew up in Padonia, Kansas and was a graduate of Hiawatha High School. Rhonda worked as a cosmetologist for a number of years and then went on to do housekeeping and being a personal care assistant.
Survivors include her two children: Nathan Chandler of Lincoln, Nebraska and Brooke Chandler of Bee, Nebraska. Two brothers: Robert and wife Lois Arnold of Topeka, and Richard and wife Jackie Arnold of Padonia, and numerous nieces and nephews that all loved their "Aunt Nonnie."
She is preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
Cremation is planned with memorial services to be held at a later date.
