Diana L. Volz, 59, Oregon, Missouri died Sunday, March 3, 2013 at Oregon Care Center, Oregon, Missouri.
She was born February 18, 1954 to Alma Jerry William and Naomi Maxine (Miller) Rowlett in Fairfax, Missouri.
She married Donald Volz April 4, 1981.
Mrs. Volz worked as a hay baler for the family business and later as a laborer for Excel in Rockport, Missouri.
Diana was a member of Reorganized Church of Latter Day Saints Restoration Branch and loved playing bingo.
She was preceded in death by her father; son, Ryan Volz; and brother, William Rowlett.
Survivors: husband, Donald Volz; daughter, Kerri Boyd (Nathan), Mound City; step-daughters, Judy Bradley, Waterville, Kansas and Elizabeth Bertwell (Darrin), Lincoln, Nebraska; brother, Jerry Rowlett (Janice)Ottumwa, Iowa; mother, Naomi Rippey (Craig), St. Joseph; nieces, Angie Church, Robin Rowlett, Staci Rowlett and Jenny Gee; Step-grandsons, Donovan Bradley and Michael and Matthew Bertwell; and several great-nieces and nephews.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Pettijohn & Crawford Funeral Home. Interment Maitland Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday, Pettijohn & Crawford Funeral Home. The family wishes to thank the loving staff of the Oregon Care Center. Flowers are appreciated and for those wishing to make a contribution, the family requests they be made to Children's Mercy Hospital.
