Aaron Edgar Keith Jr. 75, of St. Joseph, Missouri passed away Thursday February 28, 2013 at his home in St. Joseph.
He was born September 13, 1937 in St. Joseph, Missouri son of Myrtle & Aaron Keith Sr. He married Alma Williams Keith on Dec. 21, 1967 and they shared 45 together. He was a truck driver for Benton Feed Store, Ameri Mill and Star Trans Truck Line. He enjoyed repairing cars, gardening and being a deacon at Immanuel Baptist Church where he was a member.
Aaron was preceded in death by his parents, daughter, Charlotte Keith, granddaughter, Jordon Bartram, two brothers, Charles and John Keith and a sister, Beverly Williams. He is survived by his wife Alma of the home, son, Jamie (Violet) Barnes of St. Joseph, MO, daughter, Peggy (Leslie) Ebling of St. Joseph, MO, grandchildren, Lorena & Leslie Ebling, Jr. and Nicholas Barnes. Other survivors are a brother, Carl (Debbie) Keith, four sisters, Elaine Ebling, Dorothy (Jim) Umphrey, Marilyn (Dennis) Steeby and Patty (Larry) Tracy.
A Funeral service will be conducted on Saturday at 2:00 PM at the Rupp Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 pm on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Mr. Keith will be cremated following the Funeral service under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Immanuel Baptist Church.
