He was born November 5, 1962 in St. Joseph, MO. He worked at Triumph Foods in the production department. He enjoyed car shows, working on cars, hanging out in the garage, fishing and spending time with his family.
David was preceded in death by father, Charles Stagner Sr.,a step-son, A.J. Smith, grandchildren Chloe and Noah, two sisters Tammy Harding and Tina Ashford, paternal grandparents, Andrew and Dixie Stagner and maternal grandparents Alonzo and Blanche Distafino. Survivors include wife Sherri Stagner of the home, mother Maryann Harding, two daughters, Andrea Stagner and Melissa Stagner both of St. Joseph, MO, a son, David W. Stagner Jr. of Rosendale, MO, a step-son, Ed (Melissa) Smith of St. Joseph, MO a step-daughter, Georgia (Jeremy) Wisler of Wathena, KS, grandchildren Kaelyn, Seth, Ayden, Quinton, Mason, Ariel, Ella and Sy, two brothers, Charles (Angel) Stagner Jr. of Faucett, MO and Hank Stagner and companion, Sara Wallen of Lamoille, IA, four sisters, Vickie (Bob) Pendleton of Potter, KS, Connie Nutt and companion, Bobby Harris of Marshalltown, IA, Kenna Joy Harding of Cameron, MO and April Buasri of Kansas City, MO.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 am, on Saturday, March 2, 2013 at Rupp Funeral Home with Rev. John Haywood officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
