James (Jim) Buell Adams, 83, Kansas City, MO

James was born on March 3, 1929 in Albany, Missouri to the late William and Geraldine (Summa) Adams. James lived most of his life in St. Joseph, attending Central High School, finishing his education in the Armed Forces. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict.
James retired as a plumbing supplies salesman. His hobbies included bass fishing and camping.
James married Velma Buckingham, she survives of St. Joseph, MO.
Additional survivors include a son, Roger (Karen) Adams, St. Joseph, MO; daughter, Rita (Alva) Cogdill, Jameson, MO; 2 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Joy Mitchell, Mt. Ayr, IA and Roselee Catlin, FL
Mr. Adams has been cremated under the direction of the Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel, there will be no visitation or service at this time. A memorial is planned for a later date.
