Beulah was born on August 21, 1916 in Kansas City, Missouri to Samuel and Elizabeth Mary (Ebeneck) Thompson.
She married Earnest M. Payne in 1935. They were divorced in 1942. Beulah later married Emery L. "Jim" Wilson in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1965. Together with her husband Jim, they owned and operated Wilson Mobile Home Sales together.
Beulah was a member of the Maxwell Heights Presbyterian Church for 48 years and was a member of the Red Hat Society. She and her husband, Jim loved to hunt and fish and owned a resort in Brainerd, Minnesota.
Beulah was also preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Kenneth Thompson, Clint Thompson, and Jim McCall, sisters, Genevive Hockensmith and Florence Buchanan, nephew, Fred Hockensmith and grandson Scott Donald Wilson.
Surviving family includes sons, Dennis C. Wilson, Kansas City, Missouri; Ronald W. (Jacqueline) Wilson, Stewartsville, Missouri; James L. (Tammy) Wilson, Kidder, Missouri; step-daughter, Paula (Bill) Smith, Franklin, Pennsylvania; 12 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren, niece, Leora (Charles) Wilson, Raytown, Missouri; and numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Beulah loved her friends, family and everyone at Saxton Health Care inn, who not only took wonderful care of her but also became an extended family.
Services 11:00 AM Friday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel.
Private Interment, Wilson Family Cemetery.
Visitation will begin after 9:00 AM Thursday at our chapel, where the family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Thursday evening.
