He was born in St. Joseph, MO. Sept. 5, 1937 the son of Robert Frederick and Dorothy Edith Callison and raised by his grandparents, Thomas and Florence Foster in Elwood, KS. Robert served two years in the U.S. Air Force. He worked in automotive sales, computer productions, and developed his company, Callison Designs.
Survivors: wife, JoAn Floyd; sons, Robert Callison, Tim (Tito) Callison; daughters, Valorie Downs, Charlene Calllison, Kim Frazee; step-son, Tim Floyd; step-daughters, Carrie McCloud, Rebekah Sharp; brother, Terry Callison. Preceded: infant son, Steve. Visitation: Sunday, Feb. 24, 4 to 6 p.m. Harman-Rohde Funeral Home, Wathena. Graveside services: Monday, Feb. 25, 11:00 a.m. at the Bellemont Cemetery, Wathena Friends may call after 10:00 A.M. Sunday.
