Very Cold Outlook Before Next Winter Storm

Our skies will remain clear and sunny, but with those winds the temperatures will likely remain below freezing with frigid wind chills to go along with it.
Cloud cover begins to build in on Wednesday, ahead of the next low pressure, which will bring a winter storm.
Snowfall is expected to begin early Thursday morning--moderate and heavy snow at first, with the chance of sleet being mixed in during the day on Thursday.
The current accumulation is expected to be between 5-8" in St. Joseph. That could change as we get closer to Thursday, but it looks reasonable given the current guidance.
More ice will accumulate in areas to the south of St. Joe, and more snow will accumulate in areas to our north.
Light snow could linger throughout the region into early Friday.
