Conrad Francis "Bud" Johnson, 91, Troy, KS

Conrad was born on November 24, 1921 in Sparks, Kansas to Conrad Edward and Mary Martha (Johnson) Johnson. He had taught Elementary School in Doniphan County, and Vo Ag at Centralia, Kansas before moving to Sabetha, Kansas where he was principal, retiring in 1984.
Conrad is a follower of Christ who was an elder in the R.L.D.S. church for many years. He was a Mason and a member of the Smithton Lodge #1 in Highland, Kansas along with being affiliated with all Masonic bodies in Kansas. Conrad served during WWII in the Army Air Force.
He married Jean Twombly on October 6, 1946 in Fanning, Kansas. She survives of the home. Conrad was preceded in death by his parents, daughter-in-law, Carol Johnson, a sister, Cynthia Lillian Johnson.
Additional survivors include a daughter, Mary Jean (David) Kuester of Lakeview, Arkansas; sons; Greg (Mary Ellen) Johnson of Troy; Kreg (Carolynn) Johnson of Platte City, Missouri; 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. FUNERAL: Saturday, February 16, 2013 - 10:30 A.M. at: Commuity of Christ Church in Fanning, Kansas. Burial: Mount Olive Cemetery in Troy.
