Merrie Charlotte (Burkhart) Wolverton, 67, of St. Joseph died Thursday, February 7, 2013.
Charlotte was born on November 9, 1945 in Urich, Missouri to Glenn and Wilma Jean (Hillebrand) Burkhart.
She was a member of the Sweet Adelines, and had attended Grace Evangelical Church in St. Joesph. Charlotte retired from St. Joseph Light and Power and United Way of St. Joseph.
She was also preceded by her parents, a sister, Glenda Jean Kratzberg a brother, John Burkhart.
Survivors include; daughter, Merrie (David) Wardlow of Troy, Kansas son, Lance Wolverton of St. Joseph 3 grandchildren, Brandi (Gagee) Ashby, Allison Beattie and Benjamin Wardlow sister, Ruth Ellen Allard of Texarkana, Texas brother, Richard Burkhart of Omaha, Nebraska numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends
MEMORIAL SERVICE: Monday, February 11, 2013 - 11:00 A.M. at: Harman Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas. Inurnment: Bellemont Cemetery in Wathena, Kansas. Visitation: family will receive friends Sunday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
