Starla Ann McKnight 44, of Saint Joseph, Missouri passed away Tuesday February 5, 2013 at a Saint Joseph health care center.
She was born August 3, 1968 in Des Moines, Iowa daughter of Sharon & Ronald McKnight. She worked at Saxton Chateau Health Care Center 15 years as a CNA. She loved to oil paint and ride motorcycles.
Starla was preceded in death by her father, Ronald McKnight. She is survived by her fiance, Harvey Mansfield, step-mother, Judy McKnight of St. Joseph, MO, three daughters, Amanda Hughes, Misty Hughes and Brittny McKnight all of St. Joseph, MO grandchildren, Jayden, Kylin, Emily, Amiah, Leland, Isabel and Bryson, two brothers, Ronnie (Grace) McKnight and Darren McKnight all of St. Joseph, MO, two step-brothers, Robert Blizzard of St. Joseph and Timothy (LeeAnn) Blizzard all of St. Joseph, MO, a sister, Penny McKnight of St. Joseph, MO, two step-sisters, Susan Fanning and Bobbie (James) Dunn all of St. Joseph, MO and a sister-in-law, Shelly Ayers.
A Memorial service will be held Thursday, February 7, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Rupp Funeral Home, Tim Saxton officiating. She will be cremated under the direction of the Rupp Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Starla Ann McKnight Memorial Fund.
