Samuel J. "P-Nut" Bray, 87, Cameron, MO

P-Nut was born on August 1, 1925 in Cameron, Missouri to Samuel Lewis and Lillie (Dice) Bray.
He was a graduate of Weatherby High School and served in the United States Navy during World War II in the Marshall Islands.
P-Nut was a life-long farmer, also doing custom combining in Oklahoma, Kansas and Texas. He was happy to have achieved his private pilot license.
He was a member of the Cameron United Methodist Church, board member of Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery, Cameron Co-op and MFA Oil.
P-Nut was preceded in death by his parents; son, Dennis Bray; 6 brothers and 2 sisters.
He married Pauline May Campbell on April 25, 1948. She survives of the home.
Additional survivors: Son, Richard (Gloria) Bray, Maysville; 2 daughters, Margaret (Wayne ) Schemmer, Cameron, Jeanne (Steve) Hurst, Cameron; 6 grandchildren, Tracy (Jason) Welch, Heather Schemmer, Angela (Miguel) Carrasco, Jason Bray, Jesse Hurst and Chelsea Hurst; 7 great-grandchildren.
Services: 2:00 PM, Friday, February 8, 2013 at the Cameron United Methodist Church. Visitation: 6-8:00PM, Thursday evening at the church. Burial: Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery, Weatherby, MO. Memorial Donations to Comfort Care Hospice, Camp Quality and/or Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery. Arrangements: Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron.
