She was born August 23, 1920 in St. Joseph, MO, daughter of Katie and John "Yanko" Mihelic. She worked at and Swift and Company and at Pizza Royal for many years. She enjoyed to play cards, crossword puzzles and Yatze. Ann was a member of St. James Catholic Church, and sang in the church choir for many years.
Anna was preceded in death by husband, William Henry Falkenbach, her parents, 4 brothers, John J. Mihelic, James Mihelic, Charles Mihelic, and Louis Mihelic, and a sister, Frances Doolan. Survivors include 2 daughters, Christina Smith and husband Larry of Saint Cloud, FL, and Patricia O'Dell and husband Michael of St. Joseph, MO, 5 granddaughters, Rebecca Carson, Julie Roach, Rachel Smith, Stacy Clevenger, and Susan Rinehart, 11 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 10:00 am at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Evan Harkins Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 pm, Tuesday and the family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery .
