Northwest Missouri State University is gearing up for this summer's Upward Bound program.
For six weeks, students can immerse themselves in hands-on math and science projects.
Students even get to live on campus.
All of it is covered by a federal grant.
Northwest says it's a great opportunity for students in families who don't know much about college.
"They come to campus, they find out that the university instructors are easy to approach, that college students do like them, and that it's cool to be smart," says Linda Davison, of the Upward Bound Program at Northwest.
Northwest is one of only two universities in Missouri that's offering the Upward Bound program.
