Bonnie S. Oliva-Tumlinson, 64, St. Joseph, MO

Bonnie S. Oliva-Tumlinson 64, of Saint Joseph, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2013. She was born May 13, 1948 in Pueblo, CO, daughter of Myrtle and James Wright. She worked at Citadel Nursing Home as an Activities Director for many years. She was a Christian. Bonnie was preceded in death by father and a sister, Stella Wright. Survivors include husband Lee Oliva of the home, mother Myrtle Dynes, a daughter, Robin (Lloyd) Anderson of Raytown, MO, son, Mike (Stacy) Wright of St. Joseph, MO, two step-daughters, Sonia (Nick) Swope and Sandra Oliva both of St. Joseph, MO, three brothers, Jim Wright, Alvin Wright and Jerry Smith all of St. Joseph, MO, two sisters, Sheila Dempsey and Deanna Hunt both of St. Joseph, MO and eleven grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Monday with Funeral Services to be conducted at 2:00 pm, on Monday, February 4, 2013 at the Rupp Funeral Home, with Terry Wolfe officiating. The Interment will be at the Bethel Cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Bonnie Oliva Tumlinson Memorial Fund in care of the Rupp Funeral Home.
