She was born September 6, 1952 to Alvin and Jean Patterson in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Trisha attended St. Patrick's grade school in St. Joseph, Missouri and was a 1970 graduate of Bishop LeBlond High School. She began her career as a nurse and later moved into Medical Research for various Pharmaceutical companies.
Ms. Mingori was a member of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral Church in Kansas City, Missouri. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed traveling with her friends. She loved spending time with her family. Trisha faced her share of adversity in life, but always met it courageously.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: sons, Allen Jackson (Suze), Glen Hockemeier; sisters, Mary Agnes Patterson O.S.B, Alice Munninghoff (Bill); nephews, Eric and Mark Munninghoff; and numerous cousins.
Mass of Christian Burial: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, St. Patrick Catholic Church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:30 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday. Prayer Service 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. The family suggests memorial gifts to the Mary Jean Patterson Scholarship Fund at Bishop LeBlond High School or the Benedictine Sisters at Atchison, Kansas. The family would like to give special thanks to the staff at the cancer center at KU Medical.
