(COLUMBIA, Mo. ) Missouri Head Coach Frank Haith has caught heat from fans since the Tigers fell at Florida Saturday. They're down to 22nd in the latest AP poll and with a game against South Carolina Tuesday.

But Haith has bigger worries.

CBS Sports' Jeff Goodman reported Monday that the NCAA is expected to notify Haith with  allegations of unethical conduct and failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance for violations from his days at the University of Miami.

The unethical conduct charge stems from the case of former player DeQuan Jones, whose family allegedly received ten thousand dollars from Haith and his staff, according to Miami booster Nevin Shapiro.

Shapiro is currently serving a 20-year prison sentence for a $930 million Ponzi scheme.

The NCAA was unable to prove the payment occured, but believe Haith lied to the commitee about the allegations.

This could result in a multiple-year show-cause penalty for Haith, meaning any school that may want to hire him in the future would have to appear in front of an NCAA committee to explain why they want to do so.

Other individuals to receive this penalty are former Tennessee coach Bruce Pearl and former Indiana coach Kelvin Sampson.

The 'failure to promote an atmosphere of compliance' charge is for providing airline travel to family members of two players and a member of his staff.

Haith and others involved will have 90 days to reply before a hearing in front of the NCAA Committee of Infractions.
