Faye L. Baber, 88, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, January 17, 2013 at her home.
She was born August 29, 1924 to John Edward and Carrie Ann (Lyons) Grable.
Faye married Harold Baber on November 9, 1943. He preceded her in death on December 18, 1975.
She was a member of Agency Christian Church and a homemaker. She loved family, sewing, reading, and raising her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; brothers, Steve, Joe, and Robert Grable; and sisters, Ruby Richardson, Helen Anderson, and Anna Griggs.
Survivors: daughters, Deborah DeSchepper (Mike), St. Joseph, Missouri and Janet Wilson (Tony), Stewartsville, Missouri; grandchildren, LeAndra Beauford (Chad), Jason DeSchepper (Heidi), Eric Wilson (Rebecca), and Jessica Foster (Mike); eleven great-grandchildren; sisters, Winifred Corkins and Beverly Nieman (Stan); numerous nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law, Bill Baber.
Services: 1:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Sunday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. Sunday. Thank you to Kendalwood Hospice and Dr. Davin Turner for their wonderful care.
