David Wallace Olmstead, 78, Cameron, passed away on January 17, 2013.
David was born on November 5, 1934 in Muskogee, Oklahoma to Luther Hall and Jessie Mae (Price) Olmstead.
He was a graduate of Penney High School, Hamilton, MO.
David served as a Paratrooper in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Luther Olmstead and 5 sisters, Mary Lane, Jane Harrison, Gloria Davolt. Imogene Radcliffe and Carolyn Youtsey.
David was a member of the First Baptist Church, Cameron and the Local 249 UAW.
He worked at Ford Motor Company as a final inspector, before retiring. David also worked on the family farm.
He married Carol Faith Harden on December 25, 1955 in Phenix City, Alabama. She survives of the home.

Services: 11:00 AM, Monday, January 21, 2013 at the First Baptist Church, Cameron. Visitation: 4-6:00 PM, Sunday evening at Poland-Thompson Funeral Home, Cameron. Burial: Kidder Cemetery, Kidder, MO.
