Red Light Camera Warning Period Begins Friday

(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) Red-light safety cameras are now up in St. Joseph and they are going online this week.
The cameras will start keeping watch at two St. Joseph intersections beginning Jan. 18.
Starting Friday, there will be a 30-day period where red-light violators will get a warning. After that, anyone caught by a camera running a red light will face a $100 fine.
The red-light cameras will operate 24-hours a day at Belt Highway and Frederick and Belt Highway and Cook Road.
