(WHITING, Ks.) Help is on the way for a St. Joseph family after they lost everything in a house fire this week.

A non-profit organization in northeast Kansas has stepped up to collect clothing donations for the McPike family.

The McPike's home caught fire Wednesday morning in the 2200 block of Blackwell Road.
According to KNZA, a non-profit group in Whiting - Kod-4-Kids - has connections with the family, so they're trying to help.

Kod-4-Kids is collecting the following clothing items for the family:

*Boy sizes 12/14 shirts and 6.5-7 size shoes
*Girl sizes 3T or 4T and size 9 shoes
*Junior size large shirts and size 9 jeans

Along with the clothing, all other donations, including household items, are welcome.

The cause of the fire that destroyed the family's home is undetermined.
