(SAINT JOSEPH, Mo.) Smithville overtook Cameron to walk away the winners of Tuesday's quad wrestling meet at Benton High School.

The Warriors (11-1) went 3-0 on the evening, polishing off the Dragons after knocking off Chillicothe and the host Cardinals.

Benton (4-7) lost against all squads on the night in the face of mounting injuries and some young replacements.

Junior Tyler McNutt, fresh off his 100th career victory, did win all of his individual matches in the 160-pound weight class to make up three of Benton's 10 total victories.

Returning state qualifier Noah Diaz went 2-1 in the 220-pound class.

Cameron's (12-1) defending state champion, Trevor Burkhart, also won all three of his matches.

Chillicothe (12-8) finished 1-2 at the event.
