Alma Louise Justus, 84, St. Joseph, Missouri passed away on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
She was born on July 16, 1928 to Edward and Twyla Thomas in Glenwood, Iowa.
Alma married Harold Justus and together they had thirteen children. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother who loved to sing and bake. She also has a twin brother, Vernard Thomas in Coin, Iowa. We all love her and will miss her.
She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; daughter, Twyla Shoemake; brother; and a sister.
Survivors: children, Hazel Fones, Benjamin Justus, Joseph Justus, Samuel Justus, Neda Boggs, all from St. Joseph, Missouri; Harold Jr. and Matthew from Nebraska; Joyce Petty Coldwell, Texas; Thelma Wilson, Paris Texas; Roberta Medina; Dallas, Texas; Deloris Hawk, Bakerfield, California; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Services: 10:00 A.M. Thursday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory, where friends may call after 2:00 P.M. Wednesday.
