(ST. JOSEPH, Mo.) The most decorated running back in Missouri Western history will represent the Griffons one more time on Saturday.
Micheal Hill will play in the Raycom College Football All-Star Classic in Montgomery, Ala.
Hill did not find out that he would be playing in it until one week before the game. He flew to Alabama the next day to meet up with his team.
The teams playing in the all-star game will be coached by former NFL head coaches Jim Bates and Dan Reeves.
Hill will join the team coached by Reeves, the former coach of the Denver Broncos, New York Giants and Atlanta Falcons. He made four trips to the Super Bowl during his career, three with the Broncos and one with the Falcons.
The game features talent from all levels -- many of them are former Division I football players.
During his time at Missouri Western, Hill broke the career rushing record previously held by Tony Williams, and the former Central High School graduate set the single-season rushing mark with 2,168 yards.
He also be came the Griffons' first Harlon Hill Trophy runner-up, and the MIAA Offensive Player of the Year.
The Raycom College Football All-Star Classic is January 19th at 2pm, and will be televised on CBS Sports Network.
