Rosalie "Rosie" Corbet, 80, St. Joseph, Missouri died Monday, January 7, 2013 at Heartland Regional Medical Center.
She was born June 17, 1932 to John and Alta E. (Vanderslice) Puccio in St. Joseph, Missouri.
She married Hugh L. Corbet on August 6, 1965. He survives of the home.
Mrs. Corbet worked as a Pharmacy Technician at Heartland West for eighteen years retiring in 1997.
She was a member of St. Joseph Cathedral Catholic Church and the Humane Society.
Rosie was an animal lover and enjoyed shopping, music and movies.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors: her husband, Hugh Corbet; daughter, Michelle Fitzpatrick (Michael); beloved grandson, Nicholas Fitzpatrick; and sister-in-law, Lora Crowley.
Mass of Christian Burial: 1:00 P.M. Thursday, Horigan Chapel. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory where friends may call after 5:00 P.M. Wednesday. The family suggests memorial gifts to Friends of the Shelter.
