James V. Johnston, 86, Cameron, Missouri died Monday, January 7, 2013 at a local healthcare facility.
He was born September 16, 1926 to Carl and Emma (Glatz) Johnston.
James married Georgia Arnold in 1947.
Mr. Johnston served in World War II as a Merchant Marine and was a co-owner of CP Johnston.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; brothers, Franklin Johnston, Clifford Johnston, and Newton Johnston; sisters, Anna Mae Herring and Margaret Bruce.
Survivors: son, Paul Johnston (Dana); daughter, Pam Chow (Marty); grandchildren, Geoffrey Chow, James Johnston, and Christy Johnston; sister, Shirley Dougherty; and several nieces & nephews.
Mr. Johnston was a member of the Missouri Cremation Service.
