Kathryn A. (Kathy) Piveral 64, of Maryville, MO, passed away Monday, January 7, 2013, at the Heartland Hospital in St. Joseph, MO.
Kathy was born in Maryville, MO, on November 20, 1948, to Robert H. and Ruth M. (Heckman) Loch, they preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband Jim Piveral, and her sister, Linda Hoover.
Kathy was a graduate of North Nodaway High School, Hopkins, MO, in 1966, and later received her B.S. in Secondary Education from Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville. She was retired from St. Francis Hospital, also of Maryville.
On July 19, 1979, Kathy was united to James L. Piveral in Maryville, MO, he passed away on June 3, 2012.
She was a member of the Open Door Christian Center, Bolckow, MO.
Survivors include her children, Mike Kizer, Dallas, TX, Deb Kizer Walker, Kansas City, MO, and Dan (Sheila) Kizer, Maryville, MO; 5 grandchildren, Kelsie Walker, Morgan Kizer, Nicole Walker, Hanah Kizer, and Zachary Kizer; 5 siblings, Jimmy Loch, St. Louis, MO, Janice (Loch) Goosey, Springfield, MO, Lisa (Loch) McIntyre, Barnard, MO, Karen (Loch) Rybolt, Atchison, KS, Jeff Loch, Maryville, MO, and Jeanette (Loch) Everhart, Springfield, MO; 3 step children, Sandra (Dan) Nesper, Sr., Enumclaw, WA; Steve (Joyce) Piveral, Gilbert, AZ; Mark (Dawn) Piveral, Pensacola, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be at 1:00 PM Saturday, January 12, 2013, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home, Maryville, MO. The burial will be in the Quitman Cemetery, Quitman, MO.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 PM Friday, January 11, 2013, at the Bram-Danfelt Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, 208 S. LaSalle St. Ste 1500, Chicago, IL 60604-1242.
