Mary Ann Weir 54, of Atchison, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 3, 2013 at the Wathena Nursing & Rehab Center.
Mary was born on November 19, 1958 in Highland, Kansas to David Sr. & Martha (Ackerson) Thornton.
She was a member of the Riverbend Bible Church of Atchison, Kansas. She was a Homemaker.
Mary married Louis Weir on March 19, 1983. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her parents, brother, David Thornton Jr. & a sister, Alice Cheek.
Survivors: brothers, Paul Thornton of Horton, Kansas Roy Thornton of St. Joseph, Missouri nieces & nephews Memorial Graveside Service: 1:00 P.M. Monday, January 7, 2013 at the Courter Cemetery north of Troy, Kansas There is no scheduled visitation.
