Sr. Mary Agneta Mohr, OSB, 85, died Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at our Lady of Rickenbach Infirmary, Clyde, Missouri.
Sr. Agneta was born February 12, 1927 in New Ulm, Minnesota, the daughter of Martin and Clara (Tauer) Mohr.
After joining the Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration in 1951 Sr. Mary Agneta made her First Profession on February 24, 1953 and her Final Profession on March 15, 1958. She was a registered nurse and had worked at various monasteries in Missouri Illinois, Arizona and California before returning to Clyde in 2007.
Sr. Agneta was preceded in death by her Parents; her Brothers: Landis and Marlow Mohr and a Brother-in-law: Harold Guggisberg.
Survivors include her Brothers: Dr Hilary (Elizabeth) Mohr; Allen (Judy) Mohr; Vernon Mohr and Clarence (Florence) Mohr; Sisters: Aurelia Guggisberg; Irene (Jim) Schwartz and Elizabeth (Jim) Larson; Nieces, Nephews and her Monastic Family of Benedictine Sisters of Perpetual Adoration.
A Wake Service will be 7:00 pm Friday, January 4, 2013 in the Our Lady of Rickenbach Chapel, Clyde, Missouri.
Mass of Christian Burial is 8:00 am Saturday, January 5, 2013, in the Adoration Chapel of the Monastery, with burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Clyde, Missouri.
