Michael Roy Tyner, 58, St. Joseph, Missouri died Thursday, December 27, 2012 at his home.
He was born August 3, 1954 to Roy Herman and Jeanne Marie (Kennedy) Tyner in Wichita, Kansas.
Mr. Tyner served in the United States Navy.
Michael earned a Masters degree in Social work from Florida State University. After graduating he worked as a drug and alcohol counselor in the states of Florida and Missouri. He later worked for Meril in customer service.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Survivors: his brother Charles "Chuck" Tyner (Sheila); two nephews, Steve and Brian; and three nieces, Kerri Silva, Victoria Arnold and Lyndy Adams.
Memorial Visitation: 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. Monday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
