Cole Nathaniel Patrick, 18, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, December 28, 2012 in St. Joseph.
Cole was born on March 16, 1994 in St. Joseph to Wally and Jeanie (Morin) Patrick. Cole graduated from St. Joseph Cathedral School in 2008, LeBlond High School in 2012 and was pursuing a BS of Science at the University of Missouri, Columbia in preparation for Medical School.
He was recently initiated into the Delta Upsilon Fraternity at MU. He was a member of the National Honor Society and an active member of the Pep Band at LeBlond High School. He was also a member of the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church.
Cole was preceded in death by his Maternal-Grandmother, Rosemary Morin, Maternal-Grandfather, James Morin, Paternal-Grandfathers, Earnest Patrick and Thomas A Earhart.
He is survived by his parents, two brothers, Conar and Cort Patrick all of the home; Fernalee E. Earhart, Paternal-Grandmother, Dorothy Morin, Step Grandmother; Aunts and Uncles, John and Marian Morin of St. Joseph, Sue and Marion Gallatin of Blue Springs, MO, Cherry Jolliff and Jerri and Joseph Robins all of Fairland, OK, Danny and Eve Earhart of Lathrop, MO; ten cousins and several Great Aunts and Uncles.
Cole loved to laugh and hang out with his friends, play guitar and tease his mother.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Monday, December 31, 2012 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment Mount Olivet Cemetery.
The visitation will begin at 12:00 noon Sunday at Heaton-Bowman-Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel. A Rosary will be recited at 5:00pm and the family will receive friends following the rosary until 8:30pm.
The family request in lieu of flowers that contributions be made to the Cole Patrick Memorial Scholarship Memorial Fund at LeBlond High School.
